Horn shark

The horn shark was named for the distinctive "horns" (protrusions) above its eyes. It has strong jaws and blunt teeth, which are ideal for crushing the hard shells of marine animals such as sea urchins and crabs. It is a slow and inconspicuous species that spends most of its time on the seabed among rocks. It rests during the day and hunts for food at night.
