The zebra shark is a calm, bottom-dwelling species known for its interesting coloration. Young individuals have a dark body with distinct light stripes (hence the name "zebra"), while adults have a more spotted pattern. It has a long, slender body and a very long tail, which can make up almost half of its length. During the day, it mostly rests on the seabed and is primarily active at night, when it searches for food such as mollusks, crustaceans, and smaller fish. Thanks to its calm nature, it is popular among divers.
